Who Decides What Rights You Deserve?

Unjust Political Abuse

In November 2003 the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court threw gay marriage back in the national spotlight, by declaring their state ban on same-sex marriage unconstitutional. Then On Tuesday, February 24th, 2004 ultra conservative President George Bush announces his support of a constitutional amendment banning gays from marriage. This tool helped him win re-election, but never caught wind and came to anything.

Marriage is More Than a Political Game

I believe all Americans have the right to marriage, no matter what their sexual preference. To exclude a class of people in this county is unconstitutional, and down right Un-American. As Martin Luther King once said:

"This nation was founded by men of many nations and backgrounds. It was founded on the principle that all men are created equal and that the rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened."
